Catholic East gives endless possibilities for students to grow and learn. The curriculum, based on standards established by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee including the Common Core State Standards, focus on reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies and religion. Catholic East scholars in all grades also study art, music, technology and physical education.
Staff and teachers are committed to student success and to personalizing student growth.
In addition to every school day beginning and ending with prayer, students also actively experience their Catholic faith in most school experiences and in classes. Students in grades 2-8 attend Mass weekly. Once a month, second-graders through eighth-graders walk to the Holy Rosary campus to attend an all-school Mass with their lower school buddies.
Students get involved with service projects to grow and develop skills. Some of the service projects include the Alzheimer’s Association, Riverwest Food Pantry, Ryan’s Well and more. There are new projects every year to raise funds and awareness!
At Catholic East Elementary, all staff and teachers strive to provide a safe and positive learning environment for all. The safety and security of their students is the utmost importance to the school community.
