As St. Paul said in the first letter to the Corinthians,
“As a body is one though it has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though many, are one body, so also Christ” (1 Corinthians 12:12).
As a Catholic faith community, we celebrate our many differences that, together, enable us to make up the Body of Christ here on earth.
Each person has unique talents and abilities. Together we can help provide the best education possible to our students.
Help us fulfill our goal to utilize each person’s individual, God-given gifts to realize the full potential of our community.
Interested in volunteering? Our schools are looking for help in assisting in reading to extracurricular leaders… or consider sharing your special skill or interest in leading an Elective session.
Whether it’s knitting, woodworking or knowledge on how to build a website, the Elective options are endless.
Seton Catholic Schools invites community members to get involved in our student’s education in many ways.
Electives is an exciting program that brings volunteers into the classrooms! For six weeks, volunteers spend one hour a week in a school classroom to share their special knowledge or skills. These exciting, short-term sessions expand the possibilities and interests of our students. Come help teach them how to build a robot, knit hats for the homeless and patients at Children’s Hospital, or perhaps it’s some basic cooking instructions.
Share your knowledge of World War II to nutrition or crafts! These are just a few examples of the types of Electives we are looking for. At Seton Catholic Schools, we provide exceptional and diverse learning opportunities for our students. By becoming part of the Electives Program, you can help teach our students something they wouldn’t necessarily learn in the classroom. Start by filling out the Gift of Time & Talent Volunteer form, which our schools use to coordinate and contact volunteers.
Have a new idea to support our students? We’re all ears. Let us know what you’re thinking, and we’ll put your ideas to good use!
