We live in a world that is constantly changing. While we pray for peace among all, we must recognize that the world can, unfortunately, be a violent and unsafe place at times. In spite of this atmosphere, our Seton Catholic Schools are sources of love and, ultimately, safe spaces for our students.
Every Seton Catholic School has safety and security protocols set in place to ensure the safety of their students. It is their number one priority. Students can only learn when they feel safe and secure.
Emotional and Mental Well-Being
In addition to protecting the physical safety of their students, our schools promote emotional and mental well-being. It’s part of our commitment to The Seton Way.
Many Seton Catholic Schools have trained counselors on-staff to help support the social and emotional needs of students and their families. A number of schools utilize community programs that empower teachers and students to be active participants in their own well-being, like Mind Up, Project Ujima, and Second Step.
Each school promotes an environment of love and respect through school-wide behavior initiatives, and many include peer mentorship programs to teach middle school students to care for and help their younger peers.
