When we review your resume, we are interested in the progression and milestones of your career. Rather than simply writing the title of your position (“3rd Grade Teacher”), we want to know about your responsibilities in that position. We encourage you to highlight your accomplishments in each role – including student achievement results. Your resume should demonstrate your expertise.
This is an opportunity for you to showcase your personality, instructional approach, and actual teaching skills. The 8-10 minute video should capture your teaching a recent lesson or demonstrate your teaching experience. Please ensure the video frame captures most of your classroom – especially you – and that the video and audio quality are strong enough for our team to understand what is being said.
On your online application, you will be asked to submit the names of three references. A member of the Seton Talent Team may contact your references in advance of the final round of interviews or after your interview is completed. You will be informed if we will be checking your references. The reference information that is most useful to our team is that which comes from supervisors – current and former – and others who can speak directly to your qualifications and skills.
