Catholic East Elementary’s Gala: A Night to Remember

On May 3rd, 2024, the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist was the backdrop for an enchanting evening as Catholic East Elementary hosted its annual gala. This year’s event, aptly themed “Lights, Camera, Auction,” drew a crowd of 150 enthusiastic attendees, all gathered with the shared goal of supporting the school’s mission to provide an exceptional Catholic education.

Guests were treated to a delightful showcase by the talented 3rd and 4th grade students, who performed the song “Echo”. Adding to the evening’s entertainment, the 6th graders also took to the stage, delivering a memorable musical number that left the audience applauding for more.

A highlight of the night was the inspiring speech by 8th grade student Kaleb Avery. With poise and passion, Kaleb shared his personal experiences at Catholic East Elementary, eloquently conveying the profound impact the school has had on his education and personal growth.
