Two of our schools, Prince of Peace School and St. Rafael the Archangel School, recently celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with parades, music, food, fellowship and fun! Parents were invited to celebrate with their scholars. Both schools began their events with a parade and everyone walked through the street shouting, “Viva Mexico!”
Students dressed in traditional Mexican clothing, bringing ethnic pride to the event at Prince of Peace. In addition, photos were taken of students in front of the Mexican flag.
After the parade at St. Rafael the Archangel School, students and staff celebrated with a Mexican fiesta! Students, parents and teachers enjoyed an afternoon of food and fellowship!
