At Seton Catholic Schools, we believe a strong, faith-based education provides the foundation for personal and community growth. Today, we’re thrilled to announce a major milestone in our commitment to our students and the community: the construction of two new school buildings for St. Rafael the Archangel and Prince of Peace Schools in Milwaukee. These will be the first new Catholic school buildings in the city of Milwaukee in nearly 60 years.
These state-of-the-art facilities will each span nearly 40,000 square feet, designed to accommodate 500 students and two classes per grade. This expansion represents more than just bricks and mortar—it’s a powerful investment in the lives of our students, teachers, and the surrounding community.
St. Rafael and Prince of Peace have been integral to Milwaukee’s educational landscape for years. These new buildings will offer modern, student-centered environments designed to foster learning, creativity and spiritual growth. These will be more than just schools—they will be vibrant hubs for student engagement, community gatherings and faith development.
The impact of these new buildings goes beyond education. They are part of our larger mission to uplift and strengthen the local community. This, in turn, contributes to a more inclusive, empowered neighborhood where families, educators and local leaders work together to build a brighter future.
We are excited to break ground on these projects this fall, with completion anticipated in early 2026.
As we embark on this exciting new chapter, we are reminded of our mission: providing a transformational educational system committed to overcoming social and academic challenges, empowering students, families and educators to attain their God-given potential. These new buildings are a testament to that mission and a symbol of hope for the future.
We invite our Seton Catholic Schools community—students, parents, teachers and neighbors—to celebrate this momentous occasion with us. Stay tuned for updates on the groundbreaking ceremony and follow our progress as we build for the future of Catholic education in Milwaukee.
